Shaia Bernard

Shaia Bernard feels like she has been coaching others her whole life. Perhaps because she was a bit of an old soul, her friends and family often asked her for advice. Armed with more experience and an education in organizational leadership, Shaia now runs BEmpowered, an empowerment and transformation coaching business. She guides others to change their lives, manage their money and future. With a strong passion for the arts Shaia found an outlet in her production company 3PM. Here she creates inspiring and thought-provoking short films. Her latest short films focus on mental health issues. Shaia grew up in Chicago and Racine and has since lived in Texas, Georgia and Florida. Still, Wisconsin has always felt like home. Shaia and her husband have raised their blended family of seven children. Besides making joyful memories with her family, Shaia loves traveling, and experiencing the arts through theater and poetry.

Shaia draws strength from her faith in God. Growing up in a Muslim family, Shaia found her home in Christianity when she was a young adult. She attended a service with friends and knew immediately that this was where she belonged. Humble and thoughtful, Shaia always considers whether her actions will be good in the eyes of God. She hopes to help others improve their lives. In her church, she is the Care and Council Coordinator and Women's Director. She is a dedicated mentor to young women. She has deep love for others and always knew she wanted to be a mother. Shaia hopes to bring out the best in everyone and build generational wealth with her children and grandchildren.

Despite the state of the world, Shaia remains hopeful and positive. She trusts that the future holds the possibility of improvement for everyone. Wishing to share the lessons of her life experience, Shaia has written books about the importance of father-daughter relationships and taking charge of one's mindset. Currently, she is working on a faith-centered talk show with young women. She hopes that the show will inspire young people to include God in their lives. She plans to direct and produce more educational films in the future. Shaia wishes that her lessons will help others shine brightly. She recommends following one's own unique heart to create a future of purpose and fulfillment.
