I was so excited to get to do an engagement session with Andy and Sara. They are absolutely, adorably in love, and those are my favorite kinds of couples!
Sara and Andy got engaged at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in Chicago, so it was really important to them to be able to take photos there. The hotel doesn’t usually allow professional photography, but we were able to get them to make an exception for us, and we’re so glad they did! We were able to get so many beautiful images in just a few short minutes at the end of our shoot.
At the beginning of the session, as they were looking into each other’s eyes, they teared up thinking about the love they share and how they had waited to find this kind of love and found it in each other. It was a precious moment, and one to remember!
In addition to some great shots of the two of them “in love,” we got to take a few “fun” shots as well. Andy is a Chicago Bears fan, and Sara is a huge Packers fan, so we had some great “rivalry” photos in their team tee shirts. We also were so pleased to bring along their golden retriever, Romeo, at Grant Park, and this little rescue dog was just the sweetest thing!
Andy & Sara, thank you again for this wonderful engagement session! It was so great to connect with you and to get to be in Chicago—it truly is a stunning city, and the locations for photos are endless. I’m looking forward to your wedding at Blue Harbor Resort next year!
