Last week, I met Andrea and Jon for their Milwaukee WI Engagement Session. I loved this whole session, the great locations, props & clothing. Andrea personalized this session with all the details she put into it. We went to a few different places in Milwaukee, starting downtown, moving to Lake Drive, and ending at Bradford Beach.
I love that Andrea and Jon brought their Goldendoodle puppy, Mia. And Andrea’s Dad helped with the session, he was such a sweet person. He owns R.J. Gross Highwheeler ‘A man of the 90’s (1890’s) and shared with us the bike we used in the session. The weather was cold and windy, but that didn’t hinder Andrea and Jon. They are naturals in front of the camera, having fun and enjoying each others company. This session was full of romantic and intimate moments with natural smiles.
Andrea shared the story of how they met:
“While Jon and I worked at Johnson Controls together and crossed paths a few times within the organization, we engaged in more conversation at the gym (Wisconsin Athletic Club). After a few conversations, we decided to go for a beer after a workout to get to know each other better. That post-workout beer lasted 3 hours. We grew close rather quickly. Jon met my large, extended family a few months later when my grandmother passed away. My family knew he was the one for me when he could connect with everyone immediately, not to mention remember all of the names of the aunts, uncles, and cousins. It was quite impressive considering he is an only child with a smaller family. Then, we traveled on our first vacation together to Phoenix and it felt like we had been dating for years. We have common interests like a love for warm weather and outdoors. We continue to go on at least one annual trip, typically in warmer climates to escape the cold winters here in Wisconsin.”
Thank you, Andrea and Jon. I can’t wait to see you again on your wedding day!
