After a lot of rejections, I notice a subject line in my inbox.

It reads:  Mission to Space Acceptance!

I’m excited to announce my acceptance into an art exhibition at The Art Garage.

The Mission to Space exhibition will take place January 31 - March 29, 2020.

The jurors chose four pieces from my aerial photography series, Great American Landscape.

If I said this process was easy, I’d be lying.

The truth is, creative work is hard.  Just when I seem to get past the resistance, I get rejected AGAIN.  Not this time!

On difficult days, I choose to look at the bright side.  If I wasn’t being rejected, I wouldn’t be trying.  In the end, all the hard work will pay off.  I’m confident about this.

The fog continues to lift, allowing me to create it in a new form.

We could wish the fog away, or we can embrace it.  I challenge you to embrace the fog, which you’re living in.  Step into the unknown and do the thing that your heart is calling you to do.

I dare you!
