I met Tyler and Taylor on May 9 for their engagement session. We split our time together between Sheboygan, WI, and Kohler, WI, and we had a great time!
Taylor shared with me the story of how she met Tyler:
“We actually met our sophomore year of high school. We were friends for a while before we started dating and figured we would give us a shot as a couple since we were such good friends. We have been together ever since high school and hope to continue the “high school sweetheart” trend that runs in our family! (My parents were high school sweethearts, and so were his).”
A few years later, in college, Tyler proposed at Taylor’s grandparent’s house in Iowa. I love what Taylor says her grandmother had to say:
“…my grandma joked that they could never sell the house since we got engaged there!”
We started the session at the Marcus Cinema in Sheboygan, WI. I loved that they wanted to go there for part of their engagement shoot because they LOVE movies, often go to the theater, and are even having a movie-themed wedding. I could tell they were having so much fun there, and it felt natural for them. Then we headed to the American Club in Kohler for the rest of the session. I felt they really expressed their true happiness at being together, and I was so happy to be there and capture it.
Thank you Tyler and Taylor. I enjoyed this fun session, and I can’t wait for your wedding day!
