Ritz Carlton Chicago Photography

The Ritz-Carlton, Chicago is more than a hotel; it's a gallery.

The Ritz-Carlton, Chicago is a place consisting of quiet elegance.  Nestled high above the city, located between Lake Michigan and the Magnificent Mile, the Ritz-Carlton experience provides a wellspring of creative inspiration.

With no schedule or assignment, I wandered through the lobby with curiosity and a deep love for noticing the unnoticed.  Every corner of the space told a story of thoughtful design, intentional beauty, and hospitality.  I moved slowly, gazing from gold-accented sconces to the rich velvet seating. Shortly thereafter, admiring the hallways lined with art, each piece chosen with care and each placement deliberate.  Even the service here was art.  Each interaction was a reminder that luxury is a deeply human experience.

The Ritz-Carlton, Chicago, reminds me that inspiration lives in detail, service, and space designed to elevate the everyday into something sacred.

Chicago Film Photography

By laura | February 12, 2025

There’s a certain magic in wandering through Chicago with a film camera in hand. The weight of it, the click of the shutter, the patience required to see what develops, it all feels like a rebellion against the instant gratification of the digital world.  Today, Chicago is my canvas. I walk through the streets of…
