Safety First With Candice Landrum

Candice Landrum spent her childhood near the beach in Florida.  Growing up with both parents in trades and manufacturing, she knew from a young age that she wanted to help keep workers safe.  She is a safety business partner for Ahern Fire Protection, managing safety at job sites outside of Wisconsin.  This is Candice's dream job, and she gives her best to ensure that all workers make it home safe to their families each night. Home for Candice is Des Moines, lowa, where she lives with her husband, three children, and two pot-bellied pigs.  Candice loves playing
board games with her family.  Monopoly nights can be intense and last several days in a row.

Candice leads with positivity and empathy.  Applying a generous dose of her "Candice sparkle," she pays attention to those around her and supports them so that they can succeed.  Candice believes in giving grace to others through compassion and patience.  Her dad inspired her to stay calm in difficult situations and to keep an open mind.  This mindset has served her well and has allowed her to connect with others easily. After spending years living and traveling with her family in an RV, Candice has made friends all around the country.

Candice is thoughtful and appreciates all that she has learned, even from difficult situations.  She trusts in herself and keeps calm.  Candice knows that a challenge is not the end of the road but merely a course adjustment.  She looks forward to spending more time with her family to go canoeing, tubing, and camping.  She hopes her children will be healthy and earn their place in the world.  Candice wishes that we would be more patient and understanding towards others.  She encourages others to speak up and take chances.  As Candice has learned, even if something is
intimidating at first, it's going to work out.
