Support Small Business

Celebrate Wisconsin’s Heartbeat and Support Small Business

In the rolling hills and charming main streets of Wisconsin, small businesses aren’t just storefronts; they’re the soul of our communities.  Capturing the essence of these local gems is as much a passion as it is a mission for Studio L.

As a small business owner myself, I understand firsthand the dedication, risk, and heart it takes to keep a dream alive.  My photography began as a way to share moments of beauty, authenticity, and connection.  Eventually, it evolved into something more: an advocacy for entrepreneurs, makers, and family-owned shops that keep Wisconsin’s local economy thriving.

From cozy coffee shops in historic downtowns to farm markets tucked between cornfields, I use my camera to tell the stories behind each business.  I highlight the craft, character, and people who pour their energy into building something meaningful.  This blog is a celebration of Wisconsin’s unique culture, artisan products, and fresh produce.

When we support small businesses, we help ensure these spaces continue to thrive for generations to come.

We stock our freezer with meat from our local markets.

Shopping local and supporting small businesses has always been a priority for us.  My husband prepares grilled peppercorn tenderloin with mushroom cream sauce, while I cork the bottle of Stags' Leap Artemis Cabernet Sauvignon.  Continuing this tradition is another way we stay connected.
